
Product Delivery Manager

Purpose of the Role
Responsibility for delivery of new releases of Naveo’s Maginus OMS product in line with high level objectives and direction set by the Product Steering Committee.
Responsibility for HR management and development of the Product Development team.
Requirements
- Business and Technical delivery experience in a number of industries/projects
- Experience of IT delivery in enterprise IT environments
- Good knowledge of eCommerce and retail business processes and solutions
- Excellent people and team management and mentoring
- Understanding of, and an ability to, adhere to common industry processes and methodologies
- Project planning skills
- Project budget management including understanding of a project profitability and margins
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Interpersonal skills to enable effective communication of plans across peer groups
- Ability to build morale and motivate the team
Essential skills required for the role:
- Development of the Team to ensure delivery of high-quality products
- Mentoring of the team to enable career development and excellent product delivery
- Ensure effective utilisation of the development team
- Maintain a consistent and robust estimating process for developments
- Conduct regular individual appraisals and create and implement development action plans.
- Hold regular 1:2:1 with team members
- Liaise with colleagues and peers in Professional Services, Support and Sales to discuss product related issues including roadmap plans, rollout plans and feedback on product performance issues and market feedback.
- Ensure development targets are met
- Provide backup support for the Head of Products
- Stay abreast of modern development methods and practices
- Select the most appropriate technologies and methodologies applicable to the Naveo business
- Contribute to Product Planning, e.g. Provide budgets and estimates
- Manage Sprints and the Software Development Lifecycle
- Support and implement a robust quality assurance delivery within projects
- Ensure the admin processes/procedures are implemented in a timely manner
- Fulfil a Solution Architect role when required
- Contribute to Management Team meetings
Deliverables
- Development sprint plans

- Accurate forecast/resource planning
- Development estimates/budgets
- Assist with RFP responses and pre-sales requirements as needed from time to time
- Present product plans, and product technical information to other departments as appropriate
- Delivery QA feedback and report
- Escalation communication/visibility
